1. What does it cost to become a Super Stitcher shop?

Our sales-generating program is absolutely free to you—but you must be a Premiere Shop to participate. 2. When does the Super Stitcher program start and end?

The Super Stitcher program has already begun! We launched the program at Quilt Festival this fall and gave away nearly 10,000 Super Stitcher cards. Customers will be bringing their Super Stitcher cards to YOUR shop to earn free books soon! When you become a Super Stitcher shop, we’ll code your shop with a special logo in our online shop directory, so customers will instantly know that you are participating in the program. Cards expire December 31, 2008.

3. What is the benefit to me—is Martingale trying to steal my business?

ABSOLUTELY NOT. In fact, we created the Super Stitcher program to drive customers directly TO your shop. You, the independent craft shop, are at the heart of our business. Through the Super Stitcher program, we encourage customers to purchase any Martingale & Company products at YOUR shop, instead of through online retailers or directly through the publisher. Cards clearly state that “Books purchased directly from Martingale are not eligible for the Super Stitcher program.”

4. How do I mark the Super Stitcher cards that customers present to me?

Super Stitcher cards MUST be stamped with the authorized Martingale stamp, which you will receive when you sign up for the Super Stitcher program. No substitutes will be accepted.

5. When a customer earns nine stamps, who gives them a free book?

WE do! Not only will we fulfill your customers’ free book request—we’ll also send them ANOTHER Super Stitcher stamp card so they can get back to buying more Martingale books at your shop.

6. Do Martingale patterns and tools count, too?

YES! Any book, pattern, or tool produced by Martingale and sold by you is eligible.

7. Does it matter if I order Martingale books from you or from a distributor?

If you are a member of our Premiere Shop program, you are eligible to participate in the Super Stitcher program—no matter how a particular book found its way into your shop.
