Project: Corkscrew Spiral

Gauge: 12 sts = 4" in St st with 2 strands of A held tog.
(Replace original number of 10 sts with 12 sts as shown.)


Card 3
Project: Cocoa Beans

Materials

Size 13 needles or larger to BO very loosely.
Note: For knitters who have a tendency to BO too tightly, a size 15 or 17 needle may be required to obtain a BO edge that is as elastic as the CO edge.

Gauge

12 sts = 4" in garter st when worked
8 sts = 4" in garter st when worn

Scarf, first bullet:

With smaller needle and A, CO 100 sts loosely; cut yarn, leaving 6" tail.

Scarf, third bullet:

Change to larger needles and BO all sts very loosely.

Scarf, sixth bullet:

Spritz scarf lightly with water to relax the stitches. Let scarf dry completely. Do not block with steam.
