Cut 1 square, 4 1/4" x 4 1/4" (12 total). Cut twice diagonally into 48 quarter-square triangles for blocks.
Cut 1 square, 3 1/2" x 3 1/2" (12 total).
Cut 4 squares, 19/16" x 19/16" (halfway between the 1 1/2" and 1 5/8" marks on your cutting square) (48 total).
